The kids talked me into sleeping in the living room while Brenden was out of town.
The Navasards had us over and we played pie face.
Peter had a reading assignment where he had to read in all sorts of strange places. His favorite was the bathtub.
The kid’s school celebrated their 50th anniversary so they celebrated with a 1960’s day. The kids tie dyed shirts for the occasion.
We drove to Arizona for Thanksgiving. On our way we made a stop at Canyon de Chelly. We did a hike down the canyon to the cliff dwellings. It was really cool! The kids earned another junior ranger badge and Emmie even won a water bottle in a drawing.
Thanksgiving morning Brenden and I ran the Pima, AZ turkey trot. It was fun but really dusty!
Thanksgiving was held at the Blake’s home in Safford. My cousin Scott made a boxcar for our boxcar children themed thanksgiving dinner. It was so fun! There were games, the boxcar with a swing, and lots of good food and company. We enjoyed it very much!
We traveled back to the valley to spend time with the Thompsons. They were camping in the Superstition mountains so we spent the day there with them.
We got to see Cora’s soccer game and then headed to the American girl store. These cousins sure do like each other.
On the way home we stopped at Horseshoe bend along with thousands of foreign tourists. The highlight was having a Chinese couple want a picture with our kids.
The month ended with opening Christmas ornaments from mom and dad and grandpa and grandma. Getting ready for Christmas!
